Zack Snyder – ‘Watchmen’: Theatrical Cut vs. Director’s Cut vs. Ultimate Cut
The film is 24 minutes longer than the theatrical cut and is somehow even more faithful to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ graphic novel. I haven’t seen the “Ultimate Cut”, which is re-edited to incorporate the animated short film Tales of the Black Freighter, and it’s like I made the proper call in terms of what Snyder wanted me to ascertain .
After watching the Director’s Cut of Watchmen, I’m convinced if Warner Bros. had said to Snyder, “Here’s all the money you want and there’s no time limit on your film,” he would have made a frame-for-frame remake of the graphic novel, and that include Tales of the Black Freighter Theatrical Cut (162 min.) Director’s Cut (186 min.) Ultimate Cut (215 min.) .

Watchmen 2009 Movie – Storyline :
Watchmen is a 2009 film set in an alternative 1985 where superheroes exist In a gritty glory days of costumed vigilantes have been brought to a close by a government crackdown, but after one of the masked veterans is brutally murdered an investigation into the killer is initiated. The reunited heroes set out to prevent their own destruction, but in doing so discover a deeper and far more diabolical plot.
Watchmen 2009 Full Movie Review:
What should an team-up flick should look like? Zack Snyder brings layers of darkness and peels those layers successfully (I wish he could do an equivalent for BvS, unfortunately!) The plot is complex and that i am happy that there’s an upcoming TV series. Some characters resemble the Tier 1 superheroes but it’s not a shame because the focus is on the 80’s. the sole demerit is that the movie is long, quite 3 hours. Some may feel the ending as an unjustified answer, but sometimes we’ve to simply accept the ugly truth! My score: 7.5/10 .
