Major Grom: Plague Doctor 2021 Movie – Storyline :
Police Major Igor Grom is known throughout St. Petersburg for his penetrative character and irreconcilable attitude towards criminals of all stripes. But everything changes dramatically with the appearance of a person in the mask of the Plague Doctor. Having declared that his city is “sick with the plague of lawlessness”, he takes up “treatment”, killing people who, at one time, escaped punishment with the help of money and high status in society. Society is agitated. The police officers are powerless. For the first time, Igor faces difficulties in the investigation, the outcome of which may determine the fate of the whole city.
Major Grom: Plague Doctor Full Movie Review:
Since I’m familiar with the comics this movie is based on, I had rather high expectations… And I was not disappointed!
It’s a very enjoyable movie, both for comic fans and regular viewers. The plot is nice (maybe not flawless, hence the 9), with a good twist that will surprise even the most hardcore fans. The visuals are INCREDIBLE, especially for such a small budget (the intro is a work of art). The acting is flawless, with an especially remarcable performance by Serguei Goroshko (he understood the assignment and he NAILED it). On the whole, the crew put a lot of effort and love into the movie, and you can see it in all the intricate detailing and jokes.
I loved this movie and highly recommend watching it!
