Review of M3gan (2022 Movie):

User Review: I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The comedy was there, the horror was there, and the commentary was also there. It’s interesting how with all the technology we have nowadays, this really makes you think how far could AI go. Of course I don’t believe it would kill like M3gan does (or at least that’s what I hope), but we’re really leaving everything for the machines to do and that is scary. Anyway, I liked how they explained her software and technology to us in an easy way so that we would understand what was happening and M3gan didn’t just “turn bad”. I liked how it slowly scaled from being a nice cute doll to a murdering badass doll. Personally I would have liked to see a bigger body count and more body horror, but it was still pretty fun to watch. I laughed, I felt sad, and I cheered for M3gan. As someone who’s not much into science fiction, this was totally worth it. I definitely see her becoming a horror icon and probably some sequels too (I hope they don’t go downhill).
