‘Harlem (Season 2) 2023’: TV Review :

Bad acting, repetitive storyline, unimaginative, meaningless show, a complete copy of the Sex and the city but in a “modern” , so-called PC way. They’ve put LBTQ characters in the show just in order to target LBTQ people, but they didn’t make any effort furthermore. They copied even the presentation style of SATC (as Carrie narrated through the storyline, Cammile narrates it too – hahh even the initi letters of the two names are the same LoL – .It’s sad the dark skin sistah with the afro. Angie I think her name is in the musical is actually super talented. They completely degraded her character on all levels. The whole Ian and Camille storyline is so ridiculous and unrealistic. No one does this especially not black folk. They need a better writer. Whoopi probably had the best part in the whole show go figure. The Forbes story line far reaching and not believable with how reckless and carefree she lives her life to be a black woman at that level. The group of girlfriends get together waaay too much all at once. Not enough pairs. They all just seem to have the most time for each other for so many scenes.

It could have been a great and funny show representing women living in difficult circumstances and being good at their job as a result of their hard work and sacrifices, but it only managed to show stupid, selfish, lazy and profane girls.
