the film is a spin-off sequel of Stoller’s 2008 film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, reuniting director Stoller with stars Hill and Brand and producer Judd Apatow. Brand reprises his role as character Aldous Snow from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, while Hill plays an entirely new character referred to as Aaron Green instead of Matthew Van Der Wyk. The film also stars Elisabeth Moss, Rose Byrne, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Colm Meaney.

That day, Aaron’s girlfriend Daphne tells him she wants to end her medical residency in Seattle. Aaron’s sure this ends their relationship. In London, things aren’t much better: Aldous delays their departure several times, plies Aaron with vices, and alternates between bad behavior and trenchant observations. Movie Review of Get Him to the Greek 2010 :

While there’s little question that the comedy during this film stretches through different layers it also captures the visual dangers of narcotics. If anyone has been therein situation before I’m sure it’ll seem familiar. It cannot compare to the likes of “Trainspotting” or “Hot tub Time Machine”, it seems to lie between the 2 .

Personally I didn’t think a movie , of this genre, might be serious and funny at an equivalent time, yet it captures the realism of the care free lifestyle whilst entertaining you in just how Russell Brand could, who may be a seriously under rated actor, but “PD” lends this movie most of the laughs, which i assumed surprising.

Cringe moments, but definitely worth a watch.
