Flashback 2020 Movie – Storyline :

After a chance encounter with a man forgotten from his youth, Fred (O’Brien) literally and metaphorically journeys into his past. He slowly begins to unravel a long hidden mystery about a missing girl, a drug called Mercury, and a terrifying creature that has now followed him into adulthood.

Flashback Full Movie Review:

I like Dylan O’Brien and Maika Monroe, so this was a must watch for me. Fans of these 2 are going to upvote this, but honestly while well acted, this isn’t all that good. It is interesting to a point, takes a long while to get going, but in the end throws way too much out there, without explaining most of it. Maybe they expected viewers to add their own interpretation ? O’Brien is outstanding in the lead, it’s the writing and directing that bring this down. There was a time something like this night have been a 30 to 60 minute story on The Twilight Zone, pumped up to movie length it doesn’t work. To make it even worse, there are many annoying film effects used, blurs, triple images and many flashing light scenes that are bothersome and add nothing. It’s a shame production companies are letting very fine actors down with mundane stories and poor scripts. Worth it for the cast, but I’d never view this again.

and that’s just the basis for the bizarre events you’ll encounter but also good advice for anyone brave enough to tackle the multiverse probabilities of every decision they’ve ever made and their associated repercussions, consequences, causes and effects – every single one of them, alongside everyone else and their pathways of possibilities.
