Ron Whitlock is a wanted criminal leading a team of mercenaries on a mission of vengeance. Convinced that the government is working against them, the merciless group brutally seizes an energy plant and holds everyone inside hostage. With a nearby town on the brink of massive flooding and destruction, it’s up to one retired elite army ranger Mack Karr to save thousands of innocent lives before it’s too late.

Review of Deadlock 2021 Movie:

“Deadlock” tells the story of Ron Whitlock (Bruce Willis), a wanted criminal, leading a team of mercenaries on a mission of vengeance. The ruthless group brutally seizes an energy plant and holds everyone inside hostage. Retired army ranger Mack Karr (Patrick Muldoon) has to save the day. The action scenes are ample but not thrilling. The storyline is very predictable and the acting performance of Bruce is again under par.

The movie is similar to “Die Hard” except it takes place at a hydro-electric plant. In this scenario, Ron Witlock (Bruce Willis) is the bad guy after vigilante justice for his wrongfully jailed son. Mack Karr (Patrick Muldoon) is the ex-special ops person who is the “rogue hostage” taking the role of Willis from “Die Hard.”Willis plays a classless Hans Gruber. I still don´t get it. It really looks like Bruce is forced to act. He just seems burnt out. On the other hand, I liked the performance of Patrick Muldoon (Mack).
